Batista Wounded , Viper retains WWE Championship Title

It was for the first time in his very well decorated career when he captured the WWE Championship title by thrashing The Viper in a Cage match at Extreme Rules on 7th, June, 2009. In that match, conditions went really extreme and there is no question about that. It was a very hard earned and a very long waited title for him and he deserved that. But you never know what is on the cards and especially in the WWE Universe with umpteen beasts watering at your hard earned title, any thing can happen. Those who believe in fate, they say; it does not take time for the time to change.
After a huge victory at Extreme Rules, our new WWE Champ was really looking forward for the Raw. But he was not aware of what was waiting for him there. It seems The Viper was not really able to digest what happened at Extreme Rules. He was right there at Raw, waiting for Batista with an obnoxious surprise. The Legacy sadistically attacked when The Bomb went for the Raw. That attack proved to be lethal for him and he is left with a completely torn biceps (left one). Even he was given a timely treatment, he was immediately taken out of the ring and for the treatment but all that did not prove to be enough for Batista to escape the loss. According to the doctors, he requires a surgery and will be out of the ring for months. We will not be able to see The Animal at least for four months, which is for sure.

Batista has fought his every foe with enormous strength and has never turned back to any body with fear. He has been really like an Animal in and out of the ring but on that occasion, the Legacy members ultimately proved to be too much for The Bomb and the ruthlessly overcame The WWE Champion.
They tried every hard measure to strangle Batista, attacked his left arm with every cruel way available to them. They put pressure on his left arm using the ring ropes, even introduced a steel chair for their job.
After that brutal attack, The Viper got hold of the title as expected out of him. But now after Batista out of the rings for months, what future one can expect of the ‘in Demand’ WWE title?
