John Cena needed a platform where he can square The Miz and avenge him for his mocking and assaults. The Bash proved to be the one he has been looking for. From quite a few weeks, Cena has been The Miz’s target. He never left any chance to mock at him or assault him in what ever way he found. He was envy of Cena for the place he has got in Raw as a Superstar.

He used to say that he is a real Superstar, not Cena, it is him who deserve to be on every front page, T-shirts, magazines etc. not Cena.

Not even Cena but his fans too wanted Cena to take revenge with The Miz but before The Bash; he has been a bit unlucky. Once before he got a chance to go after him and clear all the matter with him but wasn’t able to.

It was his another rival Big Show who broke in to the ring and thrashed Cena and gave The Miz another chance to assault Cena . But that was not all from The Miz, he interfered in a match of John Cena against Big Show and as a result, Cena lost that match. It seemed that was the limit of Cena’s patience, he challenged The Miz for a match at The Bash.

Match at The Bash was the only chance he got to prove him wrong. So it was an occasion for him to take his business seriously and entered the ring with a stern attitude, ready for the clash. He knew how pivotal that match was for his career.

In the beginning, it seemed The Miz is going over come Champ as he took control over him and his actions for umpteen times in the match. But Cena was waiting for a momentum and once he got it, result seemed to be more and more clearer as the match proceeded.

He gave his rival his lethal Attitude Adjustment but wasn’t gratified and felt to go for more at him. He locked The Miz in the STF and tried to make the best of it. That was the moment of victory for the Champ.

Will that prove to be enough for the self proclaimed “future World Champion” or is it just the beginning of a new rivalry?
