Extreme Rivalries at Extreme Rules
For all those having a zest for the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), the long standing, the ever callous rivalry between The Rated-R superstar Edge and The Extreme Enigma Jeff Hardy is not lurking. This rivalry failed to end up at the Judgment Day. Thanks to Jeff’s elder brother who interfered not for the first time when Hardy and Edge came face to face for the World Heavyweight Championship, the things once again have gone to the extreme. Matt Hardy this time interfered with his callously lethal partners which left the match in a dilemma about to whom the title belongs.
Theodore Long, the General Manager of SmackDown immediately settled a rematch between the two and Hardy came up with an idea that the winner of this match should decide the Extreme stipulation of their pay-per-view match and look; he earned the right to do so by winning that match later that night. He challenged Edge for one of the hardest match, one of the challenging match, a Ladder match.
Considering the extremities to which both the players can go, this match is going to be one of the greatest matches of all time. While Jeff is one the most extreme WWE superstar, ladder match being perceived as his specialty, Edge is behind none, he is the one who has been a part of almost every such match with extreme rules. So hold your breaths as this match is going to take you through a bumpy ride - -a caution for faint hearted.
Another one of the Extreme Rule matches which reveals the intense rivalry is the one between Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio. Jericho’s defeat at the Judgment Day has taken their rivalry beyond match interference and chair throwing. After this, you all can imagine how extreme the conditions can go in the ‘No Holds Barred Match’ between the two at Extreme Rules with both having the chance to anything to knock other down.
Rey Mysterio will defend his Intercontinental Championship title and mint it; this title is no less than the dearest for both. On one hand, Mysterio is planning to get the hell out of Jericho on the way to become a great Intercontinental Champion. While on the other hand, Jericho holds the massive record of winning the title eight times.
