Its Cryme Tyme At SummerSlam

The Unified Tag Team Championship title was under the belt of Carlito and Primo but they lost it to Jericho and Edge at The Bash. It isn’t as simple as it seems to be. Initially it was the title match between then-Champions and The Legacy but the duo Jericho and Edge just got in during last minute when the GM Teddy Long under Mr. McMahon’s pressure declared it to be a title match among the three tag teams with Jericho & Edge as the third one.
They made it and became the new Unified Tag Team Champions but that wasn’t enough for the title. Later, on Monday Night Raw, then-guest host, the Million Dollar Man gave his son Ted DiBiase another chance to grab the Unified Tag Team Championship title back as he declared the title rematch at the Night of Champions.
But then came a twist as Edge got injured and Jericho sans a tag team partner. But he had a plan and used the clause he deliberately had added in the contract and chose a new partner which he revealed only just before the match. His new partner came out to be Big Show and The Legacy wasn’t able to bear the duo and lost their opportunity to regain their title.
Till now, the tag team of Jericho and Big Show has been running smoothly and very well indeed. Though were enemies before and it was just not expected out of Jericho to choose Big Show as his new tag team partner and from Big Show to accept it but they have been showing a great chemistry these days. Seems they have forgotten their past very easily and have concentrated their powers in co-coordinating each other in matches rather than going after each other.
There were two contenders for the title match at SummerSlam; The Hart Dynasty and Cryme Tyme. But Cryme Tyme proved their supremacy over the other duo to get the opportunity to challenge the Unified Tag Team Champions at SummerSlam. They defeated Jericho and Big Show by disqualification at Raw and got their chance.
Now, are the Unified Tag Team Champions going to the heat of Cryme Tyme when they are going to face them and defend their title at SummerSlam?
