McCool Got Herself a Place in History
McCool like all the other WWE Divas is smart, sexy and powerful but besides that, now she has got a distinction of being the only Diva having won both Divas as well as Women’s Championship when she won the later at The Bash, proving she is no less than any other Diva but above them all.
Now former Women’s Champion Melina must had feared what happened at The Bash as McCool was and will hopefully remain the toughest opponent in her career. Even before The Bash, both beauties clashed, though not in a match but they did. It was the match between Melina and McCool’s partner Alica Fox and Melina, being stronger won that match but McCool broke in to make the then Women’s Champion taste her strength. She broke in to the ring after Melina defeated Alica Fox and went after her. After thrashing Melina, she threw her foe out of the ring. That was the warning she gave to her and showed her just a trailer of what was going to happen at The Bash.
Though she won that match at The Bash with the help of Alica Fox but she is worth that title. It was really a physical battle after many slanging matches between the two. McCool made a strategy against the three times Women’s Champion Melina and just implemented it against her and to much extent succeeded too. She made Melina’s left leg her main target and attacked her there often.
Even she at one point trapped Melina’s same leg between steel chairs and the corners of the rings and that was such a torture. The aftereffect of McCool’s strategy soon came in to picture as with every move she made, she just ended up with more damage to her leg.
But it was certainly not a one sided contest. At one point of time, Melina almost pinned McCool but thanks to her partner Alica that she put her leg on one of the ropes and saved her partner her match.
That was the beginning of her victory. Melina answered Alica and knocked her off but in the mean time, McCool recovered, kicked Melina at her jaws followed by her lethal faithbreaker. That was it and it proved to be enough for Melina and McCool not only pinned her but made a place in the history of WWE too.
