Randy Orton Slithered to Success Once Again

SummerSlam was the occasion Randy Orton was least looking forward to. The reason was simple; he had to defend his title at SummerSlam against John Cena. Either by hook or by crook, Orton has been continuously dominating the WWE Championship title.
It was at Extreme Rules when he lost his WWE title to Batista in a cage match. But later he attacked Batista on his first reign as a WWE Champion and sent him out of the ring for months. Then a Four Fatal Way Match took place in which Orton faced Big Show, Triple H and John Cena and got victorious. Then the Last Man Standing match between him and Triple H for the title went for draw. Later, at The Bash, he defeated Triple H in a Three Stage hell match with the help of his Legacy.
Then it was at the Night of Champions that he put his title on line again and this time against both Triple H and John Cena and he pinned down Cena for a victory and retained the title. Now, after coming this far, he was to defend his title at SummerSlam again against John Cena and he was doubtful this time.

He had umpteen strategies to go for but every time he was held back by Mr. McMahon and ultimately he had to face Cena. His first preference was to loose the match by count-out as there was going to be no change in the title holder. But he was put down by Mr. McMahon and he had to enter the ring though reluctantly.
Then he tried to get himself disqualified, having the same motto but this time too, he was failed by Mr. McMahon. So in spite of many strategies he had with him to retain the title, he had to face Cena in the end as his plans were constantly blocked by Mr. McMahon.
So finally when he came down to fight, Cena took the lead and overcame him and was almost there and was mere seconds away from the victory when an overzealous WWE fan entered the ring and approached the referee. This was the perfect time for The Viper to attack his pray, he took advantage of the distraction and implemented his RKO on Cena, thus pinning him down to victory.
Now, how long is Randy Orton going to retain the WWE title?
