Raw at It’s Best Once Again

Last Monday night Raw has not been an exception i.e. was the very best with Jeremy Piven as guest host this time. One of the interesting matches that night was between The Champ and The Miz. When the Entourage Star along with Dr. Ken was about to start the proceedings, The Miz made an entry and demanded a rematch against John Cena who accepting the challenge came into the ring for the rematch.

But just before the start, Piven declared the match to be a Lumberjack match and would ban The Miz from SummerSlam as well as from the Monday night Raw up on loosing. It was no different as The Miz went for the taunting and ended up with Cena defeating him. But after Cena won that rematch, the guest host attacked Cena one by one but went for the punishment for messing up with The Champ.

Another one was the Handicap Match between Triple H and The Legacy. Triple H got irritated from their interferences and challenged them for a two-on-one Handicap Match. He thought he would be able to take Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes both at one time and alone but suffered the result of that underestimation as the duo worked seamlessly well and pinned him down for the victory after hitting him with the very best shots of them.

Divas’ Magic completed the night. It was tag team match between the Divas Champion Mickie James & Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix & Jillian. Beth Phoenix dominated through out the match and displayed her powers over Kim, pinning her down for the victory while Mickie James was just looking from outside the ring, waiting for the tag.

Last time, Evan had Bourne defeated Jack Swagger in the “Beat the Clock” match and destroyed his hopes of being the No.1 contender for the WWE title at SummerSlam. This time, Jack Swagger came in to the ring for the rematch to avenge the high-flying Superstar. He defeated Evan but stopped assaulting Evan only after MVP came for his rescue.

Another one was the United States Championship title match between the Champion Kofi Kingston and The Big Show. Kofi retained his title after Big Show got disqualified as he went on brutalizing Kofi even after referee’s warnings. But disqualification didn’t prove to be enough as he continued with his brutal assault even after the match was over.
