The Night went to CM Punk - Samoan Strap Match

Its all happening here at the Extreme Rules. Superstars are emerging as the winners overcoming the odds piled against them and that too in a heroic fashion. The same case is with CM Punk.
He was to face Umaga in a Samoan Strap match, which is perceived as Umaga’s own game on 7th June, 2009 at Extreme Rules. So it was obvious for the WWE fans to predict the result but as earlier said, its all happening here, Punk defeated Umaga in his own game, smacking all the odds against him.
From a month, Umaga had been a thorn for Punk on the way to cash on SmackDown. At the Judgment Day, Umaga defeated Punk. But the last meeting between them was enough to pump up Punk. In that match, Punk defeated the Samoan Bulldozer by hitting him with a dazzling Go To Sleep.
At Extreme Rules, he used the same weapon he used in SmackDown against him, followed by hitting him against the last ring post leading himself to a huge victory. After that, it was all around; can anybody cease Punk-The Straightedge Superstar?
Punk answered later with a big NO by defeating Jeff Hardy, becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion. Jeff Hardy stretched a lot to regain the loss of gold before this year. He finally got a chance to regain that lost glory but he knew that wasn’t going to be easy but his determination was no less than what was required.
Although Edge too is very well accustomed to the extreme conditions but he fought his best and way to regaining the lost glory and clenched the title. It was the moment he was eagerly waiting for, he was at cloud number 9. On the other hand, Edge’s dreams were crushed to nothing as he lost his glory and the gold. But before Hardy could fully come to the real world, punk put an end to his little ride of glory by crashing in with the contract he has since his win in the ladder match at wrestle mania on the occasion of 25th Anniversary. He used the same weapon of destruction; Go To Sleep but this time twice and in succession against the fully worn out Hardy which proved to be enough for the now X-champion.
Punk celebrated his second successive victory of the night. Really that night went to him.
This is how it all changes in a fraction of time in WWE.
