The Viper repeats History at Night of Champions

WWE title has always been Superstars’  first choice to go for. So, for the reason, it always has ended up in sequences of heart throbbing matches. This time, firstly the Last Man Standing Match between Orton and Triple H went draw. Then The Viper retained the title at The Bash in a Three Stage Hell Match and now Orton again defended his title at the Night of Champions against The Game and John Cena.

It is very unlike for anyone to forget that Triple Threat match among Randy Orton, Triple H and John Cena. It was at WrestleMania XXIV when Orton was up against John Cena and Triple H, defending the prestigious WWE Championship title. That match certainly has a place in the pages of WWE History. It was a great match and a treat to watch for a WWE fan. It was when Triple H was about to pin the 12-Rounds Superstar for a win that he punted him to steal the pin and the Victory.

He retained his title then but this time it seemed he wouldn’t be able to strike again. The scenario is same; The Viper defending the WWE title against John Cena and The Game. This time, odds were certainly against him but he proved every one wrong and retained his title in spite of every one going in favor of the other two.

The match went on and obviously was full of hard hitting action with the three very best Superstars in a single ring and against each other. Through Five Knuckle Shuffles, Pedigrees and a lot more, the match continued until Orton found himself helpless in Cena’s Sharpshooter-STF combo.

Though Cena got succeeded as Orton tapped furiously but before officials could make an appropriate decision in that unusual situation, The Legacy broke into the ring. Cena battled back and got Rhodes in a position for an attitude adjustment which proved to be position for a perfect RKO on Cena. Though Rhodes got an attitude adjustment but Orton kept himself focused and went for three-counts on Cena.

All was done, Cena was still lying down and Orton along with his Legacy was out of the ring, still with a mixed feeling of half shock and half joy
