Thursday Night Went For Big
It was an exciting night at WWE Superstars. With many exciting matches that night, the WWE Universe must have enjoyed each moment to the best. The local Superstar David Hart Smith was up against The Friday Night Delight John Morrison and the Canadian viewers certainly wanted their Superstar to win and were there only to support him. But that match led the local viewers to a disappointment as David lost to Morrison.
It was a homecoming match for David and his tag team partner didn’t want him to loose that but that happened. There were many occasions when David was just a few seconds away from the victory but Morrison proved to be the better of the two and pinned him down for the victory, leaving the Canadian viewers with utter disappointment.
After then, it was Goldust who was up against the Irish Superstar Sheamus. it was a match that seemed well in the hands of Sheamus but it was certainly the hard luck of The Celtic Warrior that the match slipped away from him and that also due to an inside help. He certainly was to win the game but his hard luck led him down and Goldust took the advantage of the situation and his experience to pin Sheamus down for a victory.
Last one was a mix tag team match. On one side it was the team of two champions: The United States Champion Kofi Kingston and Divas Champion Mickie James and on other side was the duo of Carlito and Rosa Mendes. Through out the match, things were under the control of Kofi and Mickie. It never looked that Carlito and Rosa would be able to take the victory away in the match totally under control of the two champions. But a right move at a right time did the trick for Carlito and gave them a huge win over the champions. Carlito dodged on of the Kofi’s high-flying maneuvers and reversed it with a Backstabber.
That presence of mind gave Carlito and his partner Rosa Mendes a victory over The Jamaican Superstar and Mickie James. But it was odd enough for all as the winning duo went with the same bad mood and attitude with which they entered the ring.
