It looks like CM Punk has decided to crush Jeff Hardy’s dreams every time. Earlier it was in a career threatening World Heavyweight Championship match against The Rated-R Superstar when CM Punk decimated his dreams mercilessly.

It was at Extreme Rules and just like its other matches, that too was well beyond the extremities one can think of. It was a ladder match with both the Superstars very well accustomed to such scenario and that really was a treat to watch for a WWE fan. Seeking an end to a long standing rivalry between the two, that match ended up with Hardy winning the prestigious title.

It has been a long waited title for him but it was such a rotten luck for him that he was not able to feel that moment of victory for more than a few minutes. That was the time when CM Punk broke in, making a very well use his Money in the Bank opportunity, stunning the new World Heavyweight Champion with a Go To Sleep and pinned him down for a victory.

Although he got a chance to get hold of his title again in a Triple Threat Match against CM Punk and Edge but just got a chance to face Punk at The Bash and since then he had been waiting for The Bash.

But again his rotten luck came between him and his title. He came with a rage in to the ring and with full strength and determination to avenge Punk and even almost reached his goal. There was a moment when he succeeded in pinning Punk down but later inspection revealed that Punk’s foot was out of bounds. Even after that Hardy was quite hopeful and action began again. But this time Punk got disqualified as he kicked referee at his back, thus resulting in Punk retaining his title.

That was such an example of selfish behavior shown once again by CM Punk. Even after having a very nice match, Hardy’s dreams didn’t come true and this time, he was just inches away from glory.

After the match was over, Jeff went after Punk in full frustration, referee’s got in to them and ceased Jeff from further assaulting Punk. In that way he took his obvious anger out though but the reality is; CM Punk is the World Heavyweight Champion.
