Who is going to be the one among the triad?
WWE title has always been under a lot of trouble. It first was with Randy Orton where this all began. Then The Animal wiped The Viper off his dear Gold at Extreme Rules. Then Orton attacked The Animal on his first ever reign as a WWE Champion and got WWE title once again under question. Then Orton again got hold of it by beating Triple H, John Cena and Big Show in a Fatal-Four way Match. On the other hand, his rival Triple H got an opportunity to challenge Orton for his title in a Last Man Standing Match by defeating nine other Superstars in a 10-Man Battle Royal Match.
But even that match wasn’t able to decide the fate of WWE title as that match ended up in draw. After then, both of them clashed in a three stage Hell Match and Orton with the help of his Legacy won two out of three stages in that match and retained his title.
Now, with WWE title residing with The Viper, it is going to be defended at the Night of Champions where all other title is going to be defended. Earlier there were five; The Miz, MVP, John Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton. Triple H got MVP and John Cena defeated The Miz.
Then John Cena and Triple H went for each other and ended up in no result and now it is going to be a Triple Threat match at Night of Champions between the three for WWE Championship title.
The long term rivalry between The Game and The viper hasn’t been lurking from the whole WWE. On the other hand, Triple H and John Cena are still square to each other with both having a win against each other.
Last time when these three clashed at WrestleMania XXIV, it was Orton who emerged as a winner. But this time, neither Triple H nor John Cena will let Orton to retain his title as WWE is equally dear to both of them as well and we can imagine how far these three Superstars will go to have the glory.
