Will The Champ be the Champion at SummerSlam
Randy Orton has been most successful in past few months from winning the WWE title to defending it on umpteen occasions. It has been a lot of hard work for The Viper to get hold of the gold and for long. Although he lost his prestigious title at Extreme Rules when he faced The Animal in a Cage Match and got wiped off his title but he didn’t take long to get his gold back.
He attacked Batista on his first reign as the WWE Champion and sent him out of ring for months and got another his first opportunity to grab it back as the title got in a fix. A Fatal Four Way Match took place to decide the new WWE Champion and Orton didn’t let the first opportunity to go waste and defeated Big Shoe, John Cena and Triple H to become the WWE Champion back again.
But that was not all for him. He then had to defend his title for many times after than. First he had a Last Man Standing Match against Triple H but to his relief, that match ended up in draw. Later, he was put in a three stage Hell Match at The Bash. There, he defended his title successfully with the help of his Legacy.
He defended his title two times against Triple H and successfully. But at Night of Champions, he got another one to defend his title from. Other than Triple H, it was John Cena who won an opportunity to challenge Orton for WWE title in a Triple Threat Match. There too, Randy Orton came out victorious, pinning John Cena to retain his title.
On the other hand, John Cena too has proved himself in last few months. Though he was not able to get the WWE title but still he has left a very nice impression of his abilities over the WWE Universe. On Monday night Raw, the way he got The Miz in a “Beat the Clock” match was unbelievable.
There, he got an opportunity to face Orton for a WWE title match at SummerSlam.
John Cena has proved himself under most critical conditions and has got immense endurance and power. Now, in that case, will Orton along with Legacy be able to continue his wining streak or The Champ become WWE Champion, wiping The Viper off his title?
