John Felix Anthony Cena, most commonly known as John Cena is an American Wrestler, currently working with Raw (WWE).
Almost each and every one knows him but not many would be aware of the fact that he isn’t a wrestler only. Besides that, he is hip-hop singer as well as an actor.
Presently 32, John was born on 23rd April, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts.
He has four brothers, he being the second eldest. He is a Springfield graduate in exercise physiology and after completing his graduation in 1998, he choose bodybuilding as his career.
He is a left hander and most of you must not know as he uses his right hand most in the ring.
Also called ‘Mr. P’ and ‘The Prototype’, Cena is 6 feet 1in and weigh 110 kg.
Talking about his other careers, he released his debut album ‘You Can’t See Me’ in 2005 and it was a hit. It contained his entrance theme too.
Now, besides a wrestler and a hip-hop singer, he is an actor too. He worked as a lead role in two films, both produced by WWE Studios. ‘The Marine’ was released in 2006 and his second film ‘12 Rounds’ has been released this year only on 27th of March.
Now getting back to his wrestling career, he has been really a rage in WWE. Since his debut in February, 2000, he has been a World Champion for 5 times ( 3 times WWE Champion, 2 times World Tag Team Champion)
Besides that, he has been World Heavyweight Champion for 2 times, WWE United States Champion 3 times and has been the winner of Royal Rumble (2008).
He has umpteen awards other than Championships under his belt. He was chosen the Wrestler of the Year (2007) and many other awards such as ‘Best Box Office Draw’ and ‘Best on Interview’ etc.
His debut match was against Curt Angle and it was really not one sided. He almost won that much but lack of experience made him loose. It was and will remain a memorable match.
Recently at Extreme Rules, he really had a memorable match where he made The Big Show submit. No doubt it seemed to be impossible before Cena did that.
When he enters the ring, his fans cry out,” the Champ is here” and he really is a Champ.
