Randal Keith Orton, known by his ring name ‘Randy Orton’ is a professional wrestler and currently working with Raw. Born on 1st April, 1980 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Orton at present is the WWE Champion.
Randy is not alone in his family who went for wrestling as a career. His grandfather, father as well as his uncle were professional wrestlers.
- He had a girlfriend named Samantha Speno with whom he got engaged in November, 2005 and then got married on 21st of September, 2007. Samantha gave birth to Alanna Marie on 12th of July, 2008.
- Randy Orton is a victim of hypermobile shoulders. Although he has been cleared on medical terms to wrestle, he got his collarbone brutally injured in a Last Man Standing match against ‘The Game’. Triple H attacked Orton with his sledgehammer and made him go out of ring for a long period.
- Orton has been involved in umpteen feuds but the one with The Undertaker has been most memorable. He began claiming that he is not afraid of The Undertaker and is going to end up his winning streak. He started taunting him but failed to stand on his claim at WrestleMania 21 when The Undertaker defeated him in spite of the interference of Orton’s father. But their rivalry didn’t stop here. It was at Armageddon in a Hell in a Cell match in which The Undertaker put his career at risk as he promised to retire if he loose. The Undertaker ended up the feud by defeating Orton and this time even Orton’s father’s interference didn’t work.
- He formed a tag team with Edge after Edge came to h with a proposal to join him and defeat D-Generation X and he didn’t take a second to agree as he too wanted to avenge Triple H. they formed Rated-RKO team and became the first one to break the winning streak of DX.
- In recent past, he formed ‘The Legacy’ with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase as its members. He and his Legacy are famous for breaking in to the ring and finishing up their matters. Every one knows that Orton and his Legacy can go to any extent to get what they desire.
- His fans call him ‘The Viper‘. He starts slithering in the ring and attacks his pray just like a snake.
- Talking about his WWE career, he has won the WWE Championship for 4 times, World Heavyweight Championship, World Tag Team Championship and WWE Intercontinental Championship one time each. He is in fact the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history. He won it when he was just 24. He won the Royal Rumble in 2009.
- He is young, he is dynamic and he has a lust for gory. He is WWE Champion at present . But one thing is for sure; he is not going to give up easily.
